Lauper Joins Legendary Record Executive Seymour Stein for One-Hour Special
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Music icon Cyndi Lauper is taking her country DETOUR to SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country (Ch. 60) this weekend for an exclusive one-hour special with the album’s executive producer and legendary Sire Records founder Seymour Stein (who signed The Ramones, Talking Heads, Madonna and many more) to discuss their common love of classic country and spin tracks from the album and some of the original recordings that inspired the project.
Known best for her legendary pop icon status, Lauper is reigning in a new legion of fans with DETOUR featuring a collection of country covers from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s (track listing below).
