GRAMMY Award-winning country artist Darius Rucker visited Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC on Tuesday (2/21) following a performance on the Today Show as a Musicians On Call volunteer–proof one can always find time when giving back is a priority. In addition to playing hits like his No. 1 single “Wagon Wheel,” Darius treated patients to a few Hootie & the Blowfish tunes including “Hold My Hand” and “Only Wanna Be with You.” The singer/songwriter went room to room in the orthopedic rehab unit as part of Musician’s On Call’s Bedside Performance Program. He also took requests at the Nurses station and performed for hospital staff and caregivers. Rucker has been a longtime supporter of Musicians On Call.
