Critics Rave Over Worley’s Latest Single, “Lonely Alone,”
as Featured on Spotify’s “New Traditions: Country Heroes” Playlist
Nashville, Tenn. — Country music star Darryl Worley‘s latest single, “Lonely Alone,” can now be heard on SiriusXM‘s The Highway. Shortly after its release, Storme Warren, host of The Highway, gave the tune a listen, loved it, and moved to add the tune into national rotation.
“‘Lonely Alone’ cuts a deep gash in that protective wall surrounding the real thoughts you try to hide sometimes,” says Warren on the new tune. “In other words, it’s great country music. Darryl is a master of great country music.”
In addition to SiriusXM, Spotify recently added the new tune to its “New Traditions: Country Heroes” national playlist.
Worley notes, “This song has changed my thinking about music in several ways. It’s getting as comfortable as an old flannel shirt.”
Critics have given the new song rave reviews all across the board.
Digital Journal gave the tune an A rating, declaring, “It is evident that country music is in Worley’s blood.”
The Daily Country says, “Truer words were never spoken in the poignant, heart-tugging mid-tempo tune that gently sways along as Worley sings without sorrow or regret, simply conveying a realistic, sad truth.
“With his heartfelt twang, Worley delivers a fine vocal that rivals anything he has ever done,” writes CMChat.
