Proudly hailing from southern Mississippi, Derek Norsworthy has toured the US playing college towns, renowned venues/festivals and opened for number of national acts such as Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Aaron Lewis, Corey Smith, Frankie Ballard, Miranda Lambert, Thompson Square, Parmalee, Dustin Lynch, Brantley Gilbert, Charlie Daniels, David Nail, 3 Doors Down and Alabama – just to name a few.
Derek’s lyrical vulnerability, magnetic personality and vocally stellar live performances provide songs that are clean, real and connect with audiences of all ages.
In addition to lighting up radio and audiences, Derek’s wrote the official fight song for a 3-time National Champion football team featured on the Netflix Original series “Last Chance U”. The well-versed writer has also pinned numerous film scores, with his most recent being aired nationally on PBS and the CW Television Network.
