Nashville Native Thrilled To Introduce New Styles Of Her Must-Have Leggings Collection
MINXX Spotted On Today’s Hottest Stars From Lady Gaga to Kelsea Ballerini
Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville native MARGARET ROBERTS is slated to make her Nashville Fashion Week debut during the seventh annual five-day city-wide event with her luxe leggings collection, MINXX.
Featured among sixteen handpicked designers, Roberts will spotlight MINXX on Tuesday, April 4, during the Nashville Designer Showcase in collaboration with Oz Arts Nashville.
“I can’t wait to present my dream collection in the city I grew up in and love so much,” Roberts shares. “It’s a true blessing to be a part of Nashville Fashion Week.”
Roberts attended local college-preparatory school for girls, Harpeth Hall, before spending five years studying couture fashion at the Academy of Couture Art in Los Angeles (renamed Beverly Hills Design Institute) – where she honed her skill for intricate patternmaking and design, including draping and hand beading.
Traveling between fashion capitals New York and Los Angeles, she quickly realized there was no such thing as the “perfect leggings” for differing climates – which sparked the creation of MINXX. Made from a ProModal material, MINXX allows the versatility to be worn in every region with a unique wicking treatment that offers body temperature control and an antimicrobial treatment. This high-performance fabric combines durability of extreme sportswear with stylishness of the runway to create the ultimate leggings: sophisticated, functional, and flattering.
Serving as the perfect denim alternative, MINXX currently offers eight signature options from the sleek leather look to chic lace and bells, as each envy-worthy pair are also offered with an additional wax coated treatment to extend their longevity. Roberts will be debuting brand new styles during her showcase.
Quickly becoming the must-have leggings, MINXX has been spotted on such superstars as pop icon Lady Gaga and country record-breaker Kelsea Ballerini, to Nashville leading ladies Connie Britton (as her TV character Rayna Jaymes) and Clare Bowen.
