Add Ms. Dolly Parton herself and you get pure magic.
Parton takes the vocal lead for the first half of her iconic song while the a-cappella talents of Pentatonix support her with a background of smooth vocals and heavy beats. About halfway through they switch, allowing the quintet’s vocals to harmonize, and then switch back.
The video, which was presented by Cracker Barrel, was posted on Pentatonix’s YouTube channel on Friday, September 16, and it’s already up to over 4 million views and 127,000+ likes!
