Produced by Marshall Altman
NASHVILLE, TN – Doug McCormick released his brand new single, “Good Beers Left,” to all digital outlets and streaming services yesterday (7/14). The track, produced by Marshall Altman (Frankie Ballard, Aaron Watson), is the follow-up to his Sweet Dixie Memory EP, and is the next step in introducing his brand of #mccormickcountry to the masses.
He says of the new track, “I’m excited to continue to tell my story with this song. I feel like it reveals a side of my artistry I haven’t really shown before. Yeah, I’m a simple, laid back kind of guy, but I do like to cut loose from time to time. That’s what this song is all about. For me, ‘Good Beers Left’ is a tip of the hat to some incredible memories, and even more than that, it’s a toast to all of the good times ahead.”
Earlier this year, McCormick enjoyed a 10-week run in the Top 3 of CMT’s 12 Pack Countdown with his video for “Dirt Road Dancin'” from the Sweet Dixie Memory EP. Shortly after, he entered the studio to record “Good Beers Left,” a song he co-wrote with fellow Nashville songwriter, Thomas Archer (“Hurricane”).
A South Carolina native, Doug moved to Nashville and landed a songwriting deal with BMG/Chrysalis in 2013, and has steadily built a following through grassroots touring and his dynamic live performances around the region and beyond. With this new release, Doug’s profile continues to rise.

We had the pleasure of meeting Doug in Rock Hill, SC in April. What an amazing and down-to- earth young man. Staying on the track he’s currently on, he will be a #1 soon.
