2017’S RECORD-SETTING, MULTI-WEEK #1 SMASH
EARNS LYNCH HIS THIRD PLATINUM CERTIFICATION
NOMINATED FOR COUNTRY SONG OF THE YEAR AT 2018 IHEARTRADIO MUSIC AWARDS
NASHVILLE, TENN. – Broken Bow Records star DUSTIN LYNCH is bringing home even more accolades for his record-setting, four-week #1 hit “Small Town Boy,” which is officially certified PLATINUM by the RIAA for exceeding 1 million sales and streams in the U.S. alone.
“Small Town Boy” marks Lynch’s third PLATINUM single and fifth consecutive #1. The summer groove reigned over the Billboard Country Airplay chart for four straight weeks in 2017, making it the chart’s longest-running leader of the year with the largest single-week audience. It earned Lynch his first iHeartRadio Music Awards nomination and will contend for Country Song of the Year at this year’s March 11 ceremony, broadcasting live from Los Angeles on TBS, TNT and truTV.
Lynch’s confident follow-up single “I’d Be Jealous Too” is Top 40-and-climbing on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and making a splash at Country radio.
The sizzling entertainer will continue to dazzle thousands as featured support on Brad Paisley’s WEEKEND WARRIOR WORLD TOUR through April. He’ll also make his first trip to Australia in March to perform at the sold-out CMC Rocks QLD Festival and open for Luke Bryan’s WHAT MAKES YOU COUNTRY TOUR in Sydney and Melbourne. The globetrotting star is nominated for International Artist and International Video (“Small Town Boy”) of the Year at Australia’s CMC Music Awards.
