Presented At CMT MUSIC AWARDS, Stadium Show At CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL
And Premiering “SMALL TOWN BOY” Video
Hot Streak Continues As Summer Tour Season Kicks Into Gear
Nashville, Tenn.– Broken Bow Records chart topper DUSTIN LYNCH is prepping for a week of career firsts and big-time media attention at this year’s CMA Music Festival, setting the stage for an explosive summer with three high profile events.
Last night (6/7), Lynch served as a presenter at the 2017 CMT MUSIC AWARDS. The show aired live from Nashville’s Music City Center and included performances by Florida Georgia Line and The Chainsmokers, Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood, an all-star tribute to the late Gregg Allman and more. Lynch was nominated for CMT’s Breakthrough Video of the Year in 2013 (“Cowboys and Angels”).
Then on Friday (6/9), the Tennessee native fulfills a lifelong dream with his first NISSAN STADIUM performance at the 2017 CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL. Set to deliver his signature blend of country heart and daring, new-school grooves in front of 70,000 hardcore fans, Lynch joins a bill headlined by Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and Kelsea Ballerini, which also includes Sam Hunt, Rascal Flatts, and Trace Adkins.
During his milestone Nissan Stadium performance, Lynch will also give fans a sneak peek of the romantic new beachside video for his current chart-rising single, “Small Town Boy.” Co-starring Claire Holt from The CW’s Vampire Diaries and debuting a sexy new look for Lynch, the full video will premiere on VEVO later Friday night.
Co-written by Rhett Akins, Kyle Fishman, and Ben Hayslip, “Small Town Boy” is a cool-handed declaration of love and a laid-back jam perfect for windows-down, summertime cruising. It’s currently flying up the Country radio airplay charts – already inside the TOP 25 – and represents the next chapter in Lynch’s hot streak of four consecutive #1 hits (“Where It’s At,” “Hell of a Night,” “Mind Reader,” “Seein’ Red”).
Rounding out the week, Lynch will treat fans to two additional performances in Nashville – 12th & Porter on Saturday (6/10) followed by a full-blown headline show at The Stage on Sunday (6/11) celebrating the one-year anniversary launch of his clothing brand Stay Country.
With his third album in the works, Lynch is poised for yet another huge summer of success. He’s currently amping up crowds as the featured supporting artist on Brad Paisley’s WEEKEND WARRIOR TOUR.
