NASHVILLE, TN – Eli Young Band released “Love Ain’t” and a powerful music video that shine a light on the sacrifices partners make for one another on Friday (5/25). The cinematic journey is an all-too-real situation many Americans like military veteran Taylor Morris and his wife Danielle face daily. The extraordinary couple have found strength in each other through unimaginable tragedy when Morris became a quadruple amputee after being involved in an explosion in Afghanistan and Danielle dropped everything to be at his side. Because “Love Ain’t always easy…but that’s when it matters most,” shares lead singer Mike Eli as the video begins. Watch here: https://EYB.lnk.to/LoveAintVideoPR.

“We first learned about Taylor and Danielle a couple of years ago, and there is no doubt their story speaks to what love is,” recounts Eli. “When thinking about their story and the deeper meaning in this song – how important love is and to know what love ain’t – we knew the video should reflect that. James, Chris, Jon and I all have family members who are part of the military so we know there are more couples struggling every day and how quickly lives are changed.”

Bassist Jon Jones adds, “It’s both heartbreaking and incredibly inspiring to see their bond yet know so many people have stories just like Taylor and Danielle’s. Whether it is talking to our families or speaking with servicemen and women at bases, we understand the commitment and resilience at stake. Helping to share these stories is the reason we chose to align with Wounded Warrior Project® and encourage us all to recognize these heroes who prove what love can overcome.”

EYB was drawn to the pair’s story and unwavering connection throughout the worst of circumstances. They chose to support with Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) because of the incredible work they do to empower, serve and connect. The often-unspoken truth is that warriors come back from deployment and not only have to live completely differently, but their relationships are affected as well. Since 2003, WWP has been meeting the growing needs of warriors, their families, and caregivers – helping them achieve their highest ambition. EYB hopes this story will bring awareness to the resources WWP can provide as an aid in transition processes. Donations can be made and more information on the organization’s efforts at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

“The Eli Young Band has our sincere gratitude for their support,” said WWP CEO Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Mike Linnington. “The awareness they raise around the work our organization does is instrumental in ensuring we can continue to support the warriors, family members, and caregivers we serve.”

Gravitating towards titles with lyrical twists – PLATINUM-certified No. 1 hits “Drunk Last Night,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and 2X-PLATINUM “Crazy Girl” – EYB naturally fell into a groove recording “Love Ain’t” and found a stronger connection recalling what Taylor and Danielle endured. Ross Copperman, Ashley Gorley and Shane McAnally penned the Dann Huff-produced track.

Selling out venues as a headliner from coast to coast, they have also toured with Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Darius Rucker and Dave Matthews Band. EYB will preview the new song to fans across the country this summer, including the pre-race concert for the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 27, ahead of “Love Ain’t” officially impacting Country radio on June 25.
