“Take the Trash Out” is the first song where the world will 100% see me as a person. I’ve always had a sassy personality and this song shows that side of me through and through. I’ve always said the phrase, “Strap on your sassy boots!” and that’s exactly what you need to do,” exclaimed Emily Miller!
“This song was inspired by who Emily is a badass, energetic, fun, and independent. When I came up with the idea I thought, “There’s nobody that can do this song except Emily.”” stated co-writer Drake Plantz. “Hearing her make this song come to life is more than what I expected out of someone with such incredible talent as hers. I’m happy to call Emily a best friend, and I am excited for where this song goes and where she goes as well.”

Emily added, “Take the Trash Out” is an empowerment song to all my ladies out there to know your worth and just take the trash out of your life! My favorite part about recording this song was having 11-time Fiddle Player of the Year winner, Michael Cleveland added in as the “cherry on top.” His fiddle playing adds that driving force through the song that makes you dance along. I’d be lying if I said this song wasn’t my new jam! I hope y’all feel the same and blare it in your car with the windows down!
