Known as the storyteller who epitomizes “been there and done that,” it’s only natural that Jeremy McComb would be attracted other songwriters who have not just stories, but tales to tell. The fact that this Idaho native is also a sixth-generation musician adds to the many layers of his craft, adding its own inspiration along with the likes of songwriting legends such as Jim Croce, Tom Petty and current powerhouses such as HARDY. That’s why when McComb released his latest EP The Way Back, it wasn’t a surprise that a few HARDY-penned songs found their way on the track list. One of those being the sultry yet heartbreaking “No Yesterday” and today McComb is exclusively premiering the acoustic performance video with The Country Note.
“‘No Yesterday’ is that “I’m done, it’s over, I can’t do this anymore BUT… How about one more time?!?” song,” says McComb. “Love is just like that, You need it, You want it with a certain person and sometimes that one thing just isn’t enough to hold it all together. We can hate each other tomorrow but for just tonight, One last Goodbye. Who hasn’t been there?!”
