Independent country singer/songwriter Emily Pyscher began her journey to a career in music as a senior in high school, making several trips between her home state of Michigan and Music City before moving there after graduation. The move proved to be the right decision, as Pyscher quickly became involved in the songwriting community and performing at various venues in Downtown Nashville. Leading up to her debut album arriving this fall, the nineteen-year-old artist has released six singles, the most recent being “Callin’ You Mine” in June and today she is exclusively premiering the music video with The Country Note.
Written by Pyscher, the single is a true-to-life romantic story : “I wrote this song just after purchasing a sundress (in preparation for a date); the date landed us in a beautiful wildflower field where we danced and took Polaroid pictures,” said Pyscher. “The exhilaration of the whole dreamy experience is what spawned the idea behind the song. …And yes, there was a second date!”
