If there is one thing we have learned during this time of COVID-19, it is how to adapt. We have adapted by making our homes our workplace and the classroom, we have adapted how we grocery shop, and we have adapted to new ways for both fans and artists to get their music fix, as live music pumps the blood through our veins. Live streams on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch and more have allowed artists to keep in contact with their fan bases, as well as allow them to write and perform new material, some of which was birthed by inspiration from these times we are living in.
Acme Radio Live has reached out to help keep the path of fan to live music open with their Social Distancing Sessions. They provide streamed shows on Monday and Wednesday nights with artists performing live from remote locations via their Facebook page (@acmeradiolive) which also allows the viewers to tip the artist virtually, helping musicians earn some income.
And since there can never be too much music, a bonus Social Distancing Sessions video featuring Flying Buffaloes’ is premiering today exclusively with The Country Note. Captured for the extremely exciting rooftop series launched at the historic Acme Feed & Seed prior to the COVID-19 lockdown – a series that will return as distancing measures are lifted – Nashville’s alt-country/root rockers performed a now very apropos song titled “Lonesome Cowboy,” a track off their debut album Loaded and Rollin’ released last year. Multiple high-definition cameras and drones covered all the angles of this rocking performance.

This wasn’t the first time Flying Buffaloes was filmed from all sides. Back in 2017, the music video for their debut single “Hey ; ) Is For Horses” was shot with a 360 degree camera, allowing the viewer to experience the interactive video differently each time. Watch the video here.
