If one were to describe Amber Westerman with one word, that word would be Storyteller. Her musical journey has taken her through three songwriting states – Texas, Hawaii and Tennessee – and Westerman has stories to share for ages. Though she grew up in Marble Falls, TX, it was the time she spent on the Big Island that allowed Westerman to find her pen and voice, followed by time in Music City. Since returning back to her home state, Westerman has been awarded “Entertainer of the Year” at the 2022 Dallas Model & Talent Expo, and two of her songs (“Easy With You” and “Sunflowers”) earned consecutive finalist spots in the acclaimed Kent Finlay Song Search Contest (2023–2024). Tomorrow her songwriting craft will once again be showcased in her latest, and perhaps her most intimate, single “Feel It All” premiering today exclusively with The Country Note.
When Westerman puts her pen to paper, it’s like opening a vein. Personal. Honest. Emotional. “Feel It All” came from a very personal place,” explains Westerman. “I spent much of my childhood and early adult years quietly holding everything in, carrying physical and emotional pain, and beliefs about myself shaped by trauma, bullying, and the feeling that I had to suppress what I was really experiencing. Over the last decade, I’ve been on a deep healing journey, learning that real healing begins when you stop suppressing and allow yourself to truly feel. Writing this song became part of that process for me. At its core, it’s about giving yourself permission to feel it all and trusting that there is beauty, healing, and meaning on the other side.”
In addition to her heartfelt lyrics, “Feel It All” features Westerman’s signature blend of country roots, modern folk, and dreamy textures.
