“What if I don’t want to get married? What if I love being on my own? Maybe my life could be legendary and I’m not searching for the one”
Canadian Country Artist Callie McCullough is back with a new anthem for those who know who they are and won’t let any one else plan out their lives for them. Written by McCullough and Scotty Kipfer and produced by GRAMMY-nominated producer Dave Brainard, “What If I Don’t” is the CCMA nominated artist’s first single since 2021’s “Three Quarter Time” and is premiering exclusively with The Country Note today.
“I wrote this song when I felt like I was in a feedback loop of hearing ‘I was running out of time’ from everyone around me to get married, have babies, settle down, because I was getting older…they try to scare you with it…but I was and am very happy right where I am!” says McCullough. “So, I hope that this song will be a Fun, Freedom Anthem that reminds people to live their lives the way they want to and ditch the fear of getting older….you do you baby!”
