Growing up in Montgomery, Alabama, Cameron DuBois has been immersed in music her entire life. Just a few hours away from famed Muscle Shoals, where she’s spent time honing her songwriting skills after returning from Nashville, the country-rocker has been inspired by soul, blues, R&B and naturally country music. Sharing her hometown with a museum dedicated to Country legend Hank Williams, Cameron recently had the opportunity to merge country history with her own country story when she performed Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” at the Hank Williams Museum, right in front of Hank’s 1952 Baby Blue Cadillac. That performance is premiering exclusively today with The Country Note.
“What an awesome experience to film one of my favorite covers of “Jolene” in Hank William’s museum right here in my hometown Montgomery,” says Cameron.
