Exclusive Premiere: Deidre Thornell’s “Keep On Lovin’ Me”

In 2013, Deidre Thornell was named one of five national finalists of the Texaco Country Showdown and presented with the opportunity to perform on stage at the Ryman Auditorium.  Three years later, Thornell made the move from the Lone Star State to Music City and within a year she released her first Nashville-produced project: a six-track EP titled Dallas. Now, after spending most of last year putting pen to paper, Thornell is back with her newest release “Keep On Lovin’ Mepremiering today with The Country Note!

“I’m so excited for everyone to hear this song, not only because it’s my first acoustic release ever, but it’s my first love song to be released,” says Thornell. “It’s real and raw. I wanted to reach a different type of listener through this release, because I’m usually known for my upbeat tunes, but this song was written so naturally, and so quickly, and I was getting great responses from playing it out in Nashville, that I quickly decided this would be the first out of the gate for 2020! I want to dedicate this song to everyone who has found the meaning of true love in a relationship, any relationship – weather you lost it or found it – the fact that you know that it exists in this world is a beautiful thing, so keep it close. Thank you for listening! “
