Following her highly acclaimed debut EP Crossing Hermi’s Bridge and earning the title of Georgia Country Awards 2021 Teen Artist of the Year, Leah Belle Faser has kept her pedal to the metal in 2022, ready to release her latest single. Available across digital planforms tomorrow (9/2), the cheeky, up-tempo track “Trash Talk” premieres exclusively with The Country Note today.
Cleverly written by 18-year old Faser, the song shares a lesson that you don’t want to miss: “I’ve been playing ‘Trash Talk’ with my band out at live shows for a while now and it’s a really fun, sassy song that I love to share,” says Faser. “But my hope is always that the audience listens through to the last chorus because there’s a message about the strength you can find when you stop looking in the mirror for the answer —although you may be the subject of the talk, most times, it’s just not about you at all.”
