“It’s been a long damn week, it’s time to get away”
– Robert Eskridge “Glasses Up”
What better way to celebrate the end of a long week with a song commemorating just that! Today, Delaware native Robert Eskridge has just the tune to kick off Friday Festivities with his new single “Glasses Up” premiering exclusively with The Country Note.
“‘Glasses Up’ was born from our live shows where we get a ‘holler and a swoller!’,” says Eskridge. “Getting people involved and having a good time… to get that started off we always have a call to action – PEOPLE – GET THOSE GLASSES UP if you don’t have one, go get one – then the rest kind of just came out on paper. It’s the ANYTIME Party Anthem – beach, lake, concert, honky tonk, backyard, summer, fall, winter, spring, doesn’t matter, get those Glasses Up and enjoy life!”
From the first riff of the guitar to Eskridge’s soulful Stapleton-esque vocals (accompanied by the fluttering of bluesy keys in the background) lead the way as we raise up a glass to honor hard work and enjoy its reward of the weekend.
