Indie country act The Barlow are known for their take on country music, aka “Colorado Country.” Bandmates Shea Boynton, Ben Richter, Brad Johnson, and Troy Scoope have taken their love of Red Dirt, Americana, outlaw country and guitar-heavy Southern rock to create this subgenre out in Denver. Following their 2017 self-titled debut album, the guys are are set to release their sophomore album Horseshoe Lounge.

“‘Ain’t Ever Comin’ ‘Round’ is a story about a girl who goes to great lengths in search of her father acceptance,” says front man and guitarist Shea Boynton. “This was another song that rolled off the fingers and took little time to write. We arranged and structured the song quickly and headed to the studio to lay down the drums.”
