Just in time for country summer nights, Gavin Lee delivers his new single “All You Gotta Do Is Dance.” A throw-back to classic honk-tonkin’ dance songs, this catchy tune gets you ready to grab your boots and dance until morning, leaving your troubles behind as you move across the floor. Today, Lee releases the official music video, capturing exactly what the title proclaims, premiering exclusively with The Country Note.
“I wanted to write a tune to move people to get on their feet,” says Lee. “The storyline is about a girl that’s had a crappy week and heads to the club to dance away her problems and stress. ‘All You Gotta Do Is Dance’ is right down the pipeline of some of the popular 80s and 90s line dance tunes like “Boot Scootin’ Boogie, “Hard Workin’ Man and “Chattahoochee.” We shot the video at Cahoots Dance Hall and Honky Tonk in Lebanon, TN; the venue and atmosphere really fit the bill. I’m hoping it segues to become a popular ‘request’ at the honky tonks.”
