Their constant road schedule and impeccable tunes connect with fans and the industry alike, winning two IAMA International Acoustic Awards (Folk/Bluegrass/Americana Group of the Year), as well as Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Country Single of the Year awards at the Josie Music Awards. Hitting the second half of 2024 at full speed, Herrick released their smokey, blusey country-rock “You Come Around” last month, and today they are premiering the single’s music video exclusively with The Country Note.
Accompanied by Santana-esque guitar, Donna’s Ann Wilson-meets-Pat Benatar power vocals deliver the single’s sultry lyrics:

“We wrote “You Come Around” with our long time friend and mastering engineer, Mark Lambert, an American engineer, producer and songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee who worked with Leon Russell, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Ronnie Milsap and more,” shares Donna, frontwoman and lead vocalist. “This was the first time we had ever written with Mark,” added Kerry, bass player, co-producer and co-writer. “We have worked for years in the studio with Mark and we were excited to write with him. Donna brought the first verse and melody into the session. It only took one afternoon to finish. It’s a fun soulful take on love.”
