Wausau, Wisconsin native Mia Brown is getting back to her roots with her Big Timber Entertainment debut single “Back to My Boots.” Released in October, the catchy single features none other than multi-award-winning recording artist/songwriter Keith Burns of the platinum-selling group Trick Pony, who also co-wrote the track with veteran, producer, musician, and hit-songwriter Mark Oliverius. Filled with 90s nostalgia in both lyrics (we see those Travis and Garth nods in the chorus) and two-step beats, Brown also throws in her own touch to make the song a Mia Brown tune. Today, she brings the single to life with the release of the music video exclusively premiering with The Country Note.
Filmed in several locations in Middle Tennessee, the video showcases Brown and her “Back to My Boots!” attitude in a bar as she performs, grabbing the attention of those sipping their drinks including a familiar face who joins her on stage. Behind-the-scenes studio footage is intercut throughout the video as two visions of the song come together.
“I am so excited for everyone to see my new music video, ‘Back to My Boots!'” says Brown. “This video was so much fun to film! It candidly captures the recording process and also unveils the corresponding dance! I wanted to make certain that anyone could dance to this song so the video is sure to get you up and dancing! I hope everyone loves this video as much as I do and that it gets you back to YOUR boots!!!”
