“Everyone goes through peaks and valleys in life. This song about the things that ground a person through those highs and lows. For me, that grounding is the country – maybe going for a visit back to my hometown, or taking a trip out to the mountains.” – Ryan Lindsay
Country singer-songwriter Ryan Lindsay is kicking off the new year with his third installment of The Ride‘s acoustic performance video series. Premiering exclusively today with The Country Note, Lindsay’s classic country vocals deliver a moving performance of the track “Better Now,” filmed at the former ski hill of Mistahiya, Alberta.
“I really enjoyed writing this song down in Nashville with my friends Byron Hill and Joel Rathjen – I didn’t know it at the time, but this song ended being a great perspective for me this year during the pandemic,” says Lindsay. “I kept coming back to it, and decided to include it on the album.”

Acoustic performance videos for “Hill To Die On” and “Darlin’ You’re Classic” were previously released. The fourth video of this series will be released at a later date.
