It’s fair to say that most people have a day or two in life when you just want a change of routine or scene. Whether it’s leaving your job, leaving your town for the glamour of the city – or leaving the bustle of the city for the calm of the country – you get the a point where you just need something different. Traditional country artist Ryan Lindsay tackles that exact feeling in “One Of Them Nights” from his EP The Ride, and today he’s premiering his acoustic performance video exclusively with The Country Note.
The fifth video of the series, “One Of Them Nights” is another true country tune that connects with the listener and the weight of whatever they may carry. Lindsay’s vocals add depth and validity to the lyrics, while the homey location of the video gives a visual to the track.
I’m too damn young to start feeling this way
I ain’t burned enough miles to be earning grey
I thought time was a friend of mine
Now and then I think of leaving this place
Packing my things, driving away
But tonight … it’s just one of them nights
“This song is about the end to a long day,” says Lindsay. “Sometimes when you’re winding down from a hard day, you just need to let that sun go down and have a drink. Tomorrow is always a new day”
