To be honest, the first time I listened to Frankie Ballard in 2014 I thought he sounded like Kid Rock. But utimately, my love for his music all started December of 2014 at the old HOB Disney (CA) location where I first 
met him. He was a true gentleman and down to earth man and that stuck with me.
Three years after the first interaction it all came full circle on April 5,2017. I’ve followed Frankie throughout the years and it took a 5th (concert) time to finally meet him in a formal meet and greet setting. As my daughter cried waiting in line to meet him I realized the impact of his music – I’m a combat Iraq war veteran with invisible scars and both my daughter and I have dealt with it. But through the years and the influence of his music I’ve learned to let go of my past.
I asked him to sign our first meeting selfie & questioned him if he remembered that pic….. he replied yes. During that show I couldn’t help but cry to the chorus “It All Started With A Beer.”
