Florida Georgia Line have been known to cover a lot of songs during their tours, but on their recent “Dig Your Roots” Tour, there’s one that has been a bit of a surprise – a cover of “Everybody” by the 90’s boy band phenomenon The Backstreet Boys. And like nearly everyone whom grew up in the ’90’s, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are huge fans of the group. During a recent show, FGL admitted that the quintet left an impression on the two – Kelley told the crowd that the band was the first concert he’d ever gone to, while Hubbard admitted theirs was the first album he’d ever purchased.
It was only after a series of cryptic Tweets from the BB band members during the production of their own album, they also included that they had collaborated on a song for FGL, letting the cat out of the bag. The group does indeed have a song on their highly anticipated album with the boy band, as seen on this tweet from June 30th.

Regardless, we think this collaboration sounds interesting, and we’ll hear the tune when it’s released on August 26, 2016.
