New Single “You’ll Accomp’ny Me” Reaches 16 Million Streams
Singer/songwriter Frankie Ballard just completed his third triumphant UK and European tour with over 20 performances including stops in Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, London as well as the Netherlands and dates in Germany. The month long tour was Ballard’s third trip to the UK/Europe in support of his album, El Rio.
Ballard shares a heartfelt thanks to his overseas fans and talks about the city of Manchester where he also played in May, “Honestly, I’m always shocked at how wonderful and loyal our European fans are. We had a riot every single night! Several new cities were rocked. It makes me even more sad for the people of Manchester, and scary because we were there just a couple weeks ago. My thoughts and prayers are with the broken hearted people who only wanted to see a concert. Glad to be home, but anxious for the next Tour.”
Ballard’s latest album El Rio (Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville) was released last year to critical acclaim including performances on both The Today Show and Live with Kelly. The album was selected by Rolling Stone as one of the 25 Best Country and Americana albums of 2016 and People Magazine and Entertainment Weekly also selected it as a “must” listen.
Frankie’s new take on the classic Bob Seger song “You’ll Accomp’ny Me” from the new album is on fire at streaming services with over 16 million streams on Spotify to date. Taste of Country raves about the song is, “flush with electric guitar solos that are only matched in intensity by the singer’s vocals.”
Known for igniting a Rock & Roll Renaissance, Frankie’s live show has been met with rave reviews. Billboard describes his songs live as “fused with rock ‘n’ roll guitar riffs” and Rolling Stone recently added he, “showed off his classic rock chops and Midwestern roots.”
