‘If I Didn’t Love You’, available now, is an honest love song and a reminder of the importance of love in challenging times. Frankie Davies is a Jersey-born singer/songwriter who has become a critically acclaimed performer within the UK country music scene since 2014.

Frankie explains: “‘If I Didn’t Love You’ is a love song about the intricacies of human relationships, whether with our partners, family or friends. It’s been a strange year, but the one thing that was my light in the dark of 2020 was my wedding. It made me realise how much we all need love, especially when surrounded by so much fear and uncertainty.”

Recorded and produced by Peter Waterman (Longcroft Recording), ‘If I Didn’t Love You’ blends heartfelt lyricism, mellow acoustic guitars and a country-infused lap steel. Striving to emanate a raw and honest singer/songwriter style, Frankie’s distinctive vocals and storytelling will resonate with fans of Caitlyn Smith, Chris Stapleton and Brandi Carlile.

Frankie has been continually championed by Bob Harris with a plethora of BBC Radio 2 plays as well as live radio performances. She has performed at Nashville’s Americana Music Festival and CMA Festival, as well as appearing at the UK’s biggest country event C2C. She has toured and shared stages with some of the biggest names in country music, including Chris Young, Maddie & Tae, Lissie and The Shires. Her 2018 album ‘Wherever I Go’ gained critical praise and national airplay as well as major playlist support from Spotify. Frankie started 2020 by releasing the social media-focused single ‘Asking For A Friend’, with more releases scheduled for early 2021. In support of the new releases, she will be playing The Acorn in Penzance on 26th February.
