Big & Rich, Parmalee, and Tucker Beathard Set to Join Blake Shelton

Greenville, NC – Basis Entertainment has announced the full line-up for the 2nd Annual Carolina Kickoff Concert taking place on August 19 at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in Greenville, NC. Tickets are on sale now at ECKickoff.com
Joining previously announced headliner, Blake Shelton, at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium is multi-platinum hit duo Big & Rich, comprised of Big Kenny and NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” winner John Rich. The duo has garnered multiple Grammy, ACM, CMA and CMT Music Award nominations. The first single, “Look At You,” from their latest studio album, Gravity, smashed into the top ten on the Country chart. The follow-up single, “Run Away With You,” kept the momentum rolling, also landing in the top ten, while the latest single, “Lovin’ Lately”, featuring Tim McGraw, also just scored top ten on the country charts. The Country superstars’ first studio album, Horse of a Different Color, includes their hit infectious single, “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy).” Other hits include “Comin’ to Your City,” “8th of November” and their No. 1 hit, “Lost in this Moment.” Meanwhile, “Comin’ to Your City” is nearing a decade as the theme song for ESPN’s “College GameDay.
Carolina’s own Parmalee have also been announced to perform on August 19. The 2016 ACM nominee for “New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year” Parmalee is one of country music’s most successful new acts, comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and life-long best friend Josh McSwain (guitar). Their debut country album, Feels Like Carolina, has earned the group three top ten hits including their multi-week #1 smash hit “Carolina.” Critical praise of the debut album was received from People, The New York Times, USA Today, Newsday, Billboard and more.
To round out the star-studded concert, Big Machine Label Group’s Tucker Beathard will join the line-up at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. The “Momma and Jesus” singer released his debut single, “Rock On,” in February of 2016, and followed with his Fight Like Hell EP in October.
The opening acts for The Carolina Kickoff Concert will feature country newcomers David Ray and Adley Stump. The concert will begin at 4:00 p.m. Tickets start as low as $49 and can be purchased by visiting ECKickoff.com.
