FOR SIXTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK
DEBUT ALBUM GOLDMINE DROPPING JUNE 19
NASHVILLE, TENN. — In anticipation of her debut album GOLDMINE launching June 19, Warner Music Nashville’s Gabby Barrett will unleash “The Good Ones” as her next single to Country radio. Written by Barrett with Emily Landis, Jim McCormick and Zach Kale, the new single, which already has nearly 30 MILLION on-demand streams, shines “a light on loving relationships” (Sounds Like Nashville), inspired by Barrett’s real-life good one, Cade Foehner. Watch the powerful music video now.
“I’m so happy that ‘The Good Ones’ is my next single at Country radio,” shares Barrett. “I wrote this song about my sweet husband – I hope it is as special to you as it is to me, and that you take a moment to appreciate the good ones in your life every time you hear it.”
Barrett’s red-hot streak continues as history-making debut single “I Hope” reigns supreme, holding the #1 spot atop Nielsen’s Country on-demand overall streaming chart for the sixth consecutive week, one of only two songs to hold the top spot this calendar year. After hitting #1 on the Country radio airplay charts (4/20), “I Hope” is still a Top 10 played song and the #1 recurrent single on Mediabase while making waves as the #3 most added in its first week at Hot AC. “I Hope” has tallied 2 MILLION consumption equivalents to date, with over 275 MILLION streams and over 250,000 track sales – truly a “lightning-in-a-bottle single” (PEOPLE).
Earlier this week, Barrett returned to her televised roots, joining ABC’s American Idol judges and alumni from across seasons for a special performance of “We Are the World” in celebration of the show’s season three finale (5/17). Watch the performance here.
