NEW YORK – Reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Garth Brooks and three-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist Trisha Yearwood will present a donation on behalf of HGTV to the CMA Foundation, which supports quality, sustainable music education programs, at the HGTV Lodge on Thursday, June 8, at 3:30 p.m. CT during CMA Music Festival. The HGTV Lodge, a popular venue for CMA Music Festival goers, will host Brooks and Yearwood as they meet fans and local music teachers, as well as participate in a Q&A session with Great American Country host Suzanne Alexander.
“CMA Music Festival directly benefits music education across the country through the work of the CMA Foundation,” said Trisha, who also is host of Food Network’s Trisha’s Southern Kitchen. “It is all thanks to the incredible fans and our fellow artists who come out in droves to celebrate Country Music. Thanks to them, and great supporters like HGTV, kids have access to music. It’s definitely moments like this that make CMA Fest so special.”
