NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Heidi Raye’s newest single, “Drunk Girls In Bathroom Lines,” released on Harlan Howard Records, is a playful take on how girls interact with each other while waiting for the bathroom in a bar. She perfectly describes everything from the girl crying on the floor with other girls trying to lift her up, to the girl who loves your shoes and wants to know where you got them. According to Heidi, a lot can happen in the bathroom line. Sounds Like Nashville premiered the song on Thursday. Listen to the song here.
“The tune features a contagious beat and humorous lyrics that are sure to have any woman who’s experienced the same thing singing along.” – Grace Lenehan Vaughn, Sounds Like Nashville
“If I had a dollar for every time I found myself in a compliment train in a ladies bathroom line, I’d be a very rich girl! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve asked a stranger what lipstick they’re wearing or what the secret is to getting their hair so perfect, or how many times I’ve been asked where I got my sparkly boots and if I can zip them up. I thought it was something pretty universal for the ladies, so I had to write it! This is my favorite song to play out because of the crowd reaction and participation; they make it so much fun!” said Heidi Raye.
Heidi is currently on tour with her singer/songwriter husband, Johnny Bulford, performing “songwriter round” shows with other guests artists throughout North America.
