The Nashville recording artist tells a story of being wrapped up in a toxic relationship in the energy-packed single co-written alongside Buddy Owens and Galen Griffin. Produced by Chris Condon and Leigh Houison, the track showcases Shriver’s powerful vocals and songwriting chops. Recently featured on The Nashville Sign (pictured below), Shriver is consistently turning heads in Nashville boasting a rapidly growing fanbase of thousands of eager listeners. When asked about the single release, Shriver commented, “This song really encompasses who I am as an artist. It blends my country and rock influences. My favorite part of writing is telling a story, whether it is about one of my experiences or the things I witness those in my life go through. This song really does that. It’s a song about being hooked on a relationship that you know is no good for you. It is toxic, but you’re so wrapped up you ignore the red flags. I am super excited for everyone to hear this one.”
