When fans order tickets using the code HCRELIEF5, $5 from every ticket sold will be donated to the American Red Cross to assist those in need from the damage and devastation caused by Hurricane Florence which hit the Carolinas last month. Tickets are available at opry.com and (800) SEE-OPRY.
Fans who wish to assist with hurricane relief but are not able to attend the Opry on October 6 can make a donation at rdcrss.org/opry.
“I’m so thankful to the Grand Ole Opry and the American Red Cross for the assistance they are wanting to provide to the wonderful people from my home-state of North Carolina,” shared Pickler. “The devastation from Hurricane Florence continues to this day in small towns just like the one I call home. They will need our help for a long, long time to come.”
“The American Red Cross is grateful to the Grand Ole Opry, Kellie Pickler, and all the talent and guests supporting this event. Any donation – no matter the size – will help to bring hope, refuge and comfort to thousands affected by the devastation of Hurricane Florence. Florence was, and continues to be, a devastating event for so many, and with your help, we can help residents of the Carolinas recover and rebuild,” said Brad Kieserman, Vice President of Disaster Operations and Logistics.
