Gentle Giants: The Songs of Don Williams to be released May 26
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Grand Ole Opry will honor the music of the legendary Don Williams on Tuesday night’s Opry (May 30) celebrating the upcoming release of Gentle Giants: The Songs of Don Williams
(May 26). Tuesday night’s Opry will feature performances by Opry member Alison Krauss, John Prine, Jason Isbell, and Amanda Shires, all of whom appear on the album honoring the man known as the “Gentle Giant.” Mirroring what fans see on each Grand Ole Opry performances, the Williams tribute album features new stars, superstars, and legends of country music as well as award-winning Americana favorites.
Among others on Tuesday’s show are Opry members Darius Rucker and Bill Anderson. Others coming soon to the Opry stage include Brett Eldredge, Sara Evans, Wanda Jackson, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Eric Paslay, Charley Pride, Rascal Flatts, Ricky Skaggs, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Chris Young, and more.
