NASHVILLE, TENN. – Sony Music Nashville’s rising retro rebel Hannah Dasher is giving fans a visual taste of what the bellbottomed belle is all about in her brand-new video for “You’re Gonna Love Me” – out now.
Written by Dasher alongside Andy Albert, Thomas Archer and Gordie Sampson, the feisty track showcases country newcomer’s impressive chops, as she playfully lists off some of the things that earned her the nickname “Hannah Damn Dasher.” Directed by Justin Key, the clip plays homage to the past, as the “Georgia badass” (Rolling Stone) explores Don Williams’ 1970s tour bus, pours herself a drink and sings along to her rowdy tune.
“You’re Gonna Love Me” is one of five standout tracks featured on Dasher’s Sony Music Nashville debut, ‘The Half Record,’ which dropped last Friday (7.9), elevating the CMT Next Women of Country artist’s already established mark on the genre, with American Songwriter hailing the “dynamic” project “suited toward a swarm of listeners.” Since stepping on the scene, the “future star” (Music Row) has continued to garner praise across the board for her unique vocal style with “just the right amount of leather and lace” (Billboard ), “sharp lyrics” (Sounds Like Nashville) and “witty way with words” (Music Row).
