FIRST JOINED THE HITMAKING PUBLISHING COMPANY IN 2017
NASHVILLE, TENN. — Vital to the TREE VIBEZ MUSIC family, songwriter/producer COREY CROWDER has extended his deal with the hitmaking publishing company helmed by Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, effective immediately. Crowder first joined in 2017, and has become an integral part of the in-house creative collective.
“My team at Tree Vibez Music has become family to me,” shares Crowder. “The culture that Tyler and BK have created at TVM has inspired three of my best years yet, and I’m excited for what’s next as we continue working together.”
Relocating to Nashville in 2010, to focus his talents on behind-the-scenes endeavors after first launching his career as an aspiring artist, the Loganville, GA-native has become an in-demand songwriter/producer. Newly earning a #1 as a songwriter and co-producer with FGL’s “I Love My Country,” he’s hit top-charting success with songwriting credits on Chris Young’s 2X PLATINUM, three-week #1 “I’m Comin’ Over,” GRAMMY-nominated, PLATINUM “Think of You” (featuring Cassadee Pope), and GOLD “Hangin’ On,” as well as Canadian singles: Jess Moskaluke’s “Country Girls,” MacKenzie Porter’s “About You,” and Aaron Pritchett’s “Better When I Do.” As a producer, he’s scored #1 with LOCASH’s “One Big Country Song,” and Chris Young’s GOLD “Sober Saturday Night” (featuring Vince Gill), in addition to albums: PLATINUM I’M COMIN’ OVER and LOSING SLEEP.
Earning a place at the top of the charts in the U.S. and Canada with 11 career #1s, his tunes as a songwriter have been cut by Kenny Rogers, Trace Adkins, Zac Brown Band, Dustin Lynch, Jake Owen, Morgan Wallen, Kane Brown, RaeLynn, Mason Ramsey, Jon Pardi, HARDY, Canaan Smith, among others. As a producer, he’s notched recent credits on FGL’s latest single “Long Live,” 6-Pack EP, and “Yummy (Country Remix)” with Justin Bieber, alongside Chris Young’s GOLD “Raised on Country” and GOLD “Drowning,” plus has produced for Chris Tomlin, Cassadee Pope, RaeLynn, Jamie Lynn Spears, and more. Stacking key music placements on hit TV shows like Gainesville, Nashville, One Tree Hill, The Biggest Loser, and The Real World, Crowder is an ACM, Billboard Music Awards, and GRAMMY nominee.
“Corey and I actually were in youth group together when we were kids, so we go way back in sharing music,” recalls Hubbard. “Getting to collaborate with him on songs and vibe in the studio is unlike anything else. BK and I have found a creative groove with Corey and it’s pure magic.”
“Corey is a special part of our TVM family,” adds Kelley. “He’s got a spark and passion for this industry that’s electric – just makes you want to be around him. We’re so blessed to be able to keep on making hits together.”
Fast-becoming a driving independent firm since being established in 2015, TVM’s growing roster – Brian Kelley, Tyler Hubbard, Jordan Schmidt, Corey Crowder, RaeLynn, Canaan Smith, and Blake Redferrin – has tallied 13 #1s, 50 singles, and over 300 releases, with continued global publishing support by Warner Chappell Music and Schmidt’s catalog administered by Sony/ATV. “We are all so excited to continue working with Corey Crowder,” says TVM General Manager Leslie T. DiPiero. “He is a writer’s writer, a singer’s singer, and a producer’s producer. Most importantly, he is a friend’s best friend.”
Returning to the mic himself this past spring, Crowder released a “delightfully loping, rocking ode” (MusicRow) called “My Poor Mama” via Kelley and Hubbard’s Round Here Records. Listen here.
