NASHVILLE, TENN. — Iconic Entertainment Group (IEG) has signed one of Nashville’s most promising young artists, Joel Crouse, to an artist management and publishing deal. Crouse joins IEG’s already distinguished list of clients which includes award-winning country sensation Kelsea Ballerini, Levi Hummon and more.
“Joel is a bonafide star,” says IEG President/CEO Fletcher Foster. “He pours limitless energy and passion into his live shows. He is a true lover of all kinds of music and it’s exciting to watch as he melds them together to create his own distinctive sound. And, that’s why we’re proud to welcome him to the IEG roster.”
Born in Massachusetts, Crouse began writing songs at age 16, signed his first recording deal at 19 and honed his live chops the old-fashioned way — on the road, in bars, arenas, and stadiums, becoming known for his high-octane live shows. He rocketed into national view when Taylor Swift selected him to open for her on “The RED Tour.”
Singled out in 2014 by Rolling Stone as one of the year’s top 10 new artists and by Teen Vogue as one of their “10 Country-ish Artists You’re Going to Love, Even If You Don’t Like Country,” Crouse was inspired by artists from The Beatles to Waylon Jennings to John Mayer which helped create his diverse and unique sound free of genre walls.
Crouse is currently charting a decidedly harder-rock direction in his upcoming music. In addition to writing on his own, he has recently been writing with some of music’s most influential tunesmiths such as Desmond Child, Marti Frederiksen, Lincoln Parris and Jeffrey Steele.
“As Iconic celebrates its second year, we are excited to sign someone as talented as Joel as we continue to expand into a multi-genres entertainment company,” says IEG Chairman, Larry Beckwith.
