NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today, Country female artist on the rise J.Antonette released her fourth Nashville single, “Back Pocket.” This passionate singer-songwriter teamed up with producer, and co-writer, Sherrill Allen Mitchum for this mid-tempo, emo-inspired, pop-country song. Whether you want to or not, you’ll be compelled to join in on this catchy sing-a-long chorus.
“After watching a friend go through the ridiculous back and forth of a one-sided relationship, I was inspired to write about it. Someone who loves you will never make you feel second best. They will choose you. They won’t use you as an option. If you take anything away from this song, please remind yourself of your worth. Always remember that you are enough. You deserve to be someone’s first choice! No one should keep you in their back pocket!”
When she’s not singing, J. remains busy helping the homeless and the Tennessee Foster Care system through community music events through her charity movement, Bundle Up Nash.
This spitfire has toured the world as an independent artist opening for country stars Jordan Davis, Tucker Beathard, and most recently, Eli Young Band. She received her start as a background singer for celebrity artists such as Melissa Etheridge, Grammy Award-winner Michael Bolton, and the Goo Goo Dolls.
“Back Pocket” is available now on all streaming and downloading platforms.
