DEBUT SINGLE “SOME GIRLS” TOP 15 AT COUNTRY RADIO
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Columbia Nashville/River House Artists rising star Jameson Rodgers was named Robert K. Oermann Discovery Artist of the Year at the 2020 MusicRow Awards.
In addition to this latest honor, Rodgers continues to prove why he’s “a newcomer to watch in 2020” (Taste of Country) as his debut single “Some Girls” is currently within the Top 15 at country radio with no signs of slowing. The track, which has earned more than 75 million on-demand streams, is acclaimed for its “mix of masculine rock grit, country storytelling, quick-hitting vocals and tasty electro-pop accents” (Rolling Stone).
Rodgers also recently released his collaboration with former tour mate Luke Combs, “Cold Beer Calling My Name,” which Billboard praised for its “stomping rhythms, anthemic chorus, and layered guitars.” Watch the live video, featuring behind-the-scenes footage from Rodgers’ opening stint on Combs’ BEER NEVER BROKE MY HEART TOUR and his own headlining GREW UP IN THE COUNTRY TOUR, here.
