WITH CAPACITY CROWDS DURING TWO NIGHTS AT BOSTON’S FENWAY PARK
NASHVILLE, TN – RIAA’s top digital Country male artist of all time Jason Aldean brought his “stadium-size songs” (The Boston Globe) and full-size production to Boston’s Fenway Park onFriday and Saturday night (9/9 & 9/10) as more than 60,000 fans filled the historic venue for the two 2016 SIX STRING CIRCUS TOUR stops. As the first Country artist to play the ballpark in 2013, Aldean kicked things off on Friday to a sold-out crowd as the ultimate double header featured multi-Platinum award winner Kid Rock and tourmates Thomas Rhett, A Thousand Horses and Dee Jay Silver, “with over an hour and a half of heavy hitters and crowd pleasers from his first six albums mixed with some material off his newest release, THEY DON’T KNOW,” (MassLive).
“We’ve had these shows circled on our calendar for quite a while,” shares Aldean. “This is one of the most iconic ballparks in the Country with so much history, and we were able to cut loose and have some fun with those crowds. It was pretty cool to play new music off this album, at the same time the Red Sox are No. One.”
THEY DON’T KNOW finds “the Nashville superstar refining what he does best—muscular, guitar-heavy jams and ballads filled with yearning, both delivered with down-home directness. But there’s no question he kicks it up a notch here” (Hits Daily Double), critics note of the new album, which follows the ACM Triple Crown winner’s 17 No. One hits at Country radio. Aldean has “never been afraid to let his diverse musical interests influence his sound” (The Oklahoman) as each album released has earned PLATINUM or better tallying more than 14 million album sales. His SIX STRING CIRCUS TOUR continues to “live up to his hype and record success” (Kansas City Star) as the “successful summer tour of some of the nation’s largest venues” (USA Today) continues to host sold-out crowds.
