The Multi-Platinum Singer is Set To Perform at Next Week’s
CMT Music Awards and CMA Music Festival
NASHVILLE, TN – “Few live the dreams as large, loudly and successfully” (Kansas City Star) as this year’s ACM “Entertainer of the Year” Jason Aldean, whose unparalleled live show takes center stage in the new music video for his 23rd Top 10 single, “Lights Come On.” Premiering today exclusively on VEVO, the multi-Platinum singer gives a behind-the-scenes and up-close look at one of Pollstar‘s Top Global Tours, his SIX STRING CIRCUS TOUR.
“I used to think it was cool to sell out a little night club, so now when I walk into an arena, amphitheater or stadium it completely exceeds anything I’ve ever imagined,” shares Aldean. “That’s what I really wanted to capture with this video…that moment we step on stage and give it everything we have. I want the fans to forget their cares and let loose for a few hours. They’re the ones who have allowed us to stay around this long. They’re still here supporting us, and that is why we do what we do every night.”
Serving as the lead single from his upcoming seventh album, the track’s music video was directed by Shaun Silva and shot across the country from Aldean’s tour. It’s his “big theatrics and more rock and roll-fueled country swagger” (The Times-Picayune) that shapes Aldean’s electric connection with fans, evident in the new video here:
Before heading back out on the road, Aldean will perform the fan-fueled hit next week at the 2016 CMT Music Awards next Wednesday (6/8) where he is also nominated for “Video of the Year” and will serve as the first stadium headliner at CMA Music Festival on Thursday (6/9).
