ACM “ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR” JASON ALDEAN’S NEW ALBUM
THEY DON’T KNOW, OUT SEPT. 9, LAUNCHES WITH 17th CAREER NO. ONE
Aldean’s Upcoming Seventh Album Is Available for Pre-Order Now
NASHVILLE, TN – Academy of Country Music “Entertainer of the Year” Jason Aldean continues to advance the wide-open sound that defines today’s Country Music as “Lights Come On” marks his 17th career chart topper. Landing the No. One position on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase radio charts this week, Aldean simultaneously announced his seventh studio album THEY DON’T KNOW (Broken Bow Records) will be available Sept. 9. Beginning today, fans can pre-order the album at all available digital retailers.
“I really wanted to start this new album with one of those big up-tempos,” said Aldean. “So, for it to click right away with fans and radio is a really cool way to start. With all the records we’ve done, we’ve been able to explore new sounds and really just do things our own way, and that’s sort of what the title track is all about.”
Teaming with longtime producer Michael Knox and the same band on-and-off stage for a full decade, THEY DON’T KNOW returns with a crowd-pleasing array of emotions and observations, from sizzling party-starters to hard-earned heartbreak. With the new music, the coveted ACM Triple Crown winner reveals lessons learned and confidence gained over the course of a career that includes more than 14 million album sales. No longer just a newcomer bringing a new energy to country music, he’s truly an established star, one of the standard-bearers of the genre.
