With In-Depth Interview Featuring JB & Jamie
Nashville, Tenn. – The wait is finally over as JB & Jamie Dailey release their brand new project, Step Back In Time. Fans are probably familiar with Jamie’s work as a member of the Grand Ole Opry duo Dailey & Vincent, but this personal record is a dream-come-true, full circle moment for both father and son. Even prior to its official release, the album has already hit the top spot on Amazon’s Best-Selling Bluegrass Albums charts, where it held strong. JB’s inspirational story has captivated music fans, grabbing attention with his heartfelt story. Despite battling Parkinson’s, that didn’t stop the 73-year-old from recording (when he was feeling up to it) and releasing this debut album. Growing up, Jamie would often sing together with his father JB, ultimately inspiring Jamie to pursue a career in music. The Dailey & Vincent member not only sang on the record, but also produced and played instrumentally on the record alongside other singers and musicians like Bluegrass legend Doyle Lawson, D&V co-founder Darrin Vincent, Country and Gospel Music Hall of Fame Statler Brothers member Jimmy Fortune and more. The publication Sounds Like Nashville captured the entire story with an in-depth piece featuring an interview with both Dailey’s (read it HERE). Fans got a first taste of the album with the project’s lead single, “Nobody’s Darlin’ But Mine.” The song has already begun charting on the main Bluegrass Today chart, where it continues to climb. The tune may sound familiar to some listeners, as the track was originally made famous by Country legend Merle Haggard. JB’s classic Bluegrass style voice shines bright, while Jamie’s harmony vocals pair perfectly with his father’s. The tune was written by well-known songwriter Jimmie Davis.
