Nashville, TN. – Americana/Bluegrass Entertainer Jimmy Bowen is excited to announce the launch of Jimmy Bowen & Friends, a new live TV music series airing this fall. The show hosted by Bowen consists of thirteen half-hour episodes featuring Bowen performing live with his band and a featured guest artist each week. “I am so excited about this new adventure in my career. I’ve always wanted to host my own music variety TV show and with the wonderful team we have assembled, and the super-talented guests we have lined up for the first season of the show, I know we are starting out right. With a blend of new artists and seasoned entertainers, I believe there is something for everyone and that viewers will love the show,” Bowen commented.
Jimmy Bowen & Friends is syndicated nationwide and was produced by award-winning production company CJM Productions who’s shows are broadcast in over 160 million homes in the USA as well as the UK and New Zealand. The show is confirmed to launch the week of September 28, 2020, on the following TV Networks: Heartland TV – Tuesday, 5 p.m. EST, Sunday, 5 p.m. EST, The Family Channel – Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. EST, Sundays, 4:30 p.m. EST, The Country Network (TCN) – Thursday, 7:30 p.m., Friday, 11:30 a.m., Sunday, 3 p.m. (broadcast stations air times are true to the time zone the viewer is in, on line streaming platforms are EST) RightNow TV – Tuesday, 3 p.m. EST, Wednesday, 12 a.m. EST, Friday, 3 p.m., EST, Saturday, 12 a.m. EST, Sunday, 12 a.m. EST, StrykTV (OTT), Z Living TV (TBA), and Country TV-New Zealand (TBA).
The show was filmed live at Ridenour Rehearsal Studios in Murfreesboro, Tennessee in their venue, “The Alley.” Guests include a mix of established and rising artists with a diverse musical line-up: John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzard), Cody McCarver (Confederate Railroad), Jake Hoot (The Voice, season 17 winner), Sonny LeMaire (Exile), Aly Cutter, Ashlyn Grayce, Elvie Shane, Jamie Baxter, Karen Waldrup, Ken Wilbur, Makky Kaylor, and Terell Davy. Bowen is already in the planning stages for Season 2.
