Jimmy Wayne’s Memoir ‘Walk to Beautiful’ Continues to Inspire
Best-Selling Title Surpasses 100,000 Copies in Print

Jimmy Wayne’s three-time New York Times best-selling book, Walk to Beautiful celebrates a milestone this week as it crosses the 100,000 sales mark for print copies. Jimmy’s memoir, released in October of 2014, has not only captivated readers, it has inspired positive change in the foster care system and compelled individuals to get involved in helping at risk foster kids.

Jimmy Wayne - Walk to Beautiful“I wrote Walk To Beautiful with best-selling author Ken Abraham after walking from Nashville to Phoenix to raise awareness for at-risk foster children,” says Jimmy. “When I was 16, I was given a home by Bea and Russell Costner, and I wouldn’t be here today if not for their kindness and generosity.”

“Jimmy Wayne is an inspiration to all who meet him, and there have been so many that have now met him through the pages of Walk to Beautiful as well,” says Matt Baugher, Senior Vice President of Thomas Nelson and Publisher of W Publishing Group. “Jimmy is a tireless promoter for a healthy foster care system in this country and has done more to advance this great cause than almost any other individual in the last few years.  This book is just one small part of that effort, and we’re honored to partner with him.”

A supporter of Jimmy’s tireless work is Coca-Cola. When the global brand heard about its role in Jimmy’s story, it commissioned 7,000 displays in grocery stores around America featuring Walk to Beautiful along with its classic Christmas Coca-Cola bottles. This was the first promotion of its kind in Coca-Cola history.  In addition, Jimmy’s song “I Love You This Much” is also currently part of Coca-Cola’s “Share a Coke and a Song” campaign that features lyrics on bottles and cans of Coca-Cola nationwide.
