The single’s new music video dropping Monday
features an epic drum performance from Rowe out in the woods
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Rising country artist Jordan Rowe releases his new single “Bad Case of the Good Ole Boy” available everywhere today, June 25 with a music video to follow on Monday. The foot-stomping single also serves as the title track to his new album, which is slated for release on Friday, Aug. 6 and produced by award-winner Derek Wells.
“The idea for ‘Bad Case Of The Good Ole Boy’ actually came from a line in “10-4,” another song that will be on the album. Listen to that one when it comes out, and you’ll know what I mean,” teases Rowe. “Bad case is a country boy’s anthem, and I hope it fires people up as much as it does me!”
Released via River House Artists, “Bad Case of the Good Ole Boy” was written by Rowe, Taylor Phillips, Hunter Phelps and Drew Parker. Co-writers from the upcoming project, including Cole Taylor, Thomas Archer and Ray Fulcher can even be seen in the down-home music video releasing on Monday, June 28. The video will feature Rowe playing the drums out in a clearing, as he and his buddies head back from hunting. “Bad Case of the Good Ole Boy” lets listeners learn more about who Jordan is, and will have fans immediately chanting along to the singable chorus.
Earlier this month, Rowe released “I Didn’t Sleep Last Night,” and has two more songs on their way next month (July 9 and July 23) from the forthcoming album. With his new single, the “fresh and relatable” (American Songwriter) Ga. native shows his gravitation to traditional country layered with modern elements, making for a unique sound that’s all his own.
Building up momentum for his debut project, Rowe has the summer performing throughout the Southeast on The Cody Johnson Tour presented by Blue Otter Polarized and will join Jon Pardi this summer and Jameson Rogers later this year.
