Brand New Song Impacting Radio,
Featured on Apple Music’s “Breaking Country” and Lyric Video Premieres on Taste of Country
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Josh Gracin’s latest single, “Good For You,” is hitting the airwaves today and Taste of Country has premiered its lyric video here. Fans are discovering a completely different side of the hitmaker as he combines elements of country and blues to create a striking, soulful ballad. Apple Music has shown early support of the song by adding it to their “Breaking Country”playlist and country radio is already adding it to their playlists. The single is available now on all digital platforms.
“This song is something you haven’t heard from me before,” said Josh. “I wanted to give the fans something different. ‘Good For You’ is country to the core but it plays on elements of blues and soul, which is the type of music I grew up on. I think fans will really grab onto this one.”
“Good For You” was written by Reviver Publishing’s David DeVaul and Robyn Collins. “Robyn and I wanted to write a love song that had an edge to it,” says DeVaul. “It’s about a girl who lives a life that appears she’d try anything but she won’t give in to fully love. She hides in the smoke but the guy is saying “Try Me. I know I’ll be Good For You.”
Josh Gracin’s previous single, “Nothin’ Like Us” garnered over 16 million streams on Spotify and was well-received by his core fans. “Good For You” is reaching today’s country fans and reintroducing Gracin to country radio and country fans. Taste of Country’s Annie Reuter calls it “sultry” and says the crooner “bares his soul.”
